Last month REACH had a visit from the friendly team at EPIC Foundation.
For those who aren't aware of EPIC, they are a fantastic organisation that connects high net worth individuals and corporations to high impact organisations around the world that support children and youth. Their approach to philanthropy is innovative and impact-focused, with 100% of donor funds going directly to organisations in the EPIC Portfolio. The founder, Alexandre Mars, is a successful serial entrepreneur, tech expert and passionate philanthropist.
Last year, REACH was one of 20 organisations selected out of 1,400 across 85 countries to join EPIC Foundation's investment portfolio. REACH is one of two organisations EPIC supports in Southeast Asia and the first in Vietnam, so we were ecstatic to meet the team.
Visiting us were Elissa (Director of Impact Monitoring and Research), Sam (Director of Operations) and Max (Development Team, Europe) and they were some of the most interesting and compassionate people we've met. We showed them around the REACH Hanoi Centre and then ventured out into the Typhoon to meet some of our students and partners around Hanoi.
We had a great day with Elissa, Sam and Max and we look forward to welcoming them back to Vietnam again soon. Thanks guys!
