REACH is holding an online fundraising campaign on Indiegogo.com from now until January 23rd to raise $40,000 for our new Japanese training restaurant in Hanoi that will provide 60 disadvantaged youth each year with certified skills training and quality employment opportunities.
Our latest social enterprise will not only help Vietnam's most disadvantaged youth, but also meet the growing demand of Hanoi-based consumers for Japanese food, and of Vietnam-based Japanese restaurants for highly trained chefs that can create authentic Japanese cuisine.
This exciting project is a partnership between REACH, and restaurant developer Setsugekka, with support from the Tsuji Culinary Institute in Japan and world-renowned 7-Michelin Star Chef Yoshihiro Murata! Our restaurant will be a combination of an authentic Japanese cooking training course and training restaurant, the first of its kind in the world.
In building this restaurant, not only are we meeting the needs of consumers and industry, but we will be providing certified skills training and quality employment opportunities to 60-80 disadvantaged youth per year, including victims of human trafficking or abuse, orphans and youth living in poverty.
We have also provided a range of exciting perks packages to say thank you to our supporters. Whether it's a handwritten thank you card, having your name on our Restaurant Honour Board, or a dinner for two at Chef Murata's ultra-exclusive, 3-Michelin Star Kikunoi restaurant in Kyoto, there's something for everyone.
Please take a few minutes to Like, Follow and share news of the campaign on Facebook
, and support our fundraiser. Every penny goes directly to the set up of our restaurant, training our students and placing them in stable jobs. REACH receives no funding from the Vietnamese government, so every contribution counts, big or small!
