REACH has been named one of the 6 Asian regional finalists in the Philanthropy University and Alquity Transforming Lives Awards and the whole team could not be more excited! Under the auspices of fundraising officer, Anh Nguyen, an initial application was put forward in November into the first round of the awards. Once accepted, a second full application was put forward in January. Since then it has been an anxious wait.

Excited students pack YCI opening ceremony in Ho Chi Minh city


On the 6th September 2019, the opening ceremony of the Youth Career Initiative took place at Le Meridien Saigon hotel. This was the result of a long partnership between YCI, hotels namely Sheraton Saigon Hotel, Le Meridien Saigon, Renaissance Riverside Saigon and REACH center.

Visit from Victorian Government delegation helps promote greater international linkages at REACH


Hanoi, Vietnam—August 30 2019—A delegation from the State Government of Victoria (Australia) has today visited REACH’s Hanoi campus further cementing ties between REACH and the Victorian vocational education system. This comes just weeks after REACH’s Executive Director, Tam Pham Thi Thanh, signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Victoria’s Chisholm Institute.

Ben Sacarello from the UK has joined the team at REACH Hanoi for a one month stint facilitated by Volunteers Abroad. Ben is an undergraduate student studying Geography at the University of Liverpool but his goals are far greater than just an undergraduate degree..

REACH Provides Opportunities To H’Mong Ethnic Minority


Youths from the H’mong ethnic minority have visited REACH headquarters over the weekend to learn about the vocational education opportunities REACH has on offer. “I really like the activities today. The teachers have taken us a tour around to the center. It is very cool,” said 16 year old, H’mong student, Ma Thi Di, from Sa Pa. The young men and women, from one of Vietnam’s poorest ethnic minorities ate sweets, danced, and played games giving them a welcome reprieve from a busy weekend in the capital.
