On 10th Nov 2020, The U.S Ambassador to Vietnam Daniel J. Kritenbrink visited REACH center in Hanoi to meet the students & see the Life-transforming impact of REACH’s program.
He was impressed with the presentation on the organization’s development and achievements overseen by Ms. Pham Thi Thanh Tam, REACH’s Executive Director.
On the tour, he visited the Graphic Design class, tried some dishes made by REACH’s cooking students, and became a guest to order a drink in the Food & Beverage class.
The Ambassador had a short conversation with Mr. Ngo Van Quyet the Facilitator of the 2D Graphic Design class. He was impressed by Quyet, who is also a REACH alumnus. He loved his energy and the passion and experience he brought to his teaching.
“Excellent” was the compliment that the Ambassador used to describe the Egg Coffee, Rose, the Fried Duck with Basil, and Foil Wrapped Chicken presented by REACH students.
