Participants are from different backgrounds. They are migrant youth from Bac Giang, Tuyen Quang, Dien Bien, Yen Bai, Thanh Hoa, Nam Dinh, Quang Ninh, Ninh Binh. Some of them are ethnic minority people such as Thai and Cao Lan. Some are victims of domestic violence or human trafficking.
During the past 24 weeks, YCI students had the opportunity to undergo intensive on-site training by senior staff and managers at the Hilton Garden Inn, Hilton Hanoi Opera, Sheraton Hanoi
Up till now, out of 30 YCI graduates, 9 have been offered to stay in permanent or casual position at participating 5-star hotels. One graduate has decided to extend her training period and the other 16 have been passed the interviews for job placement at other hotels/restaurants.
